B.Ed. Admission

The admission to 2-year B.Ed. programme in the Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu is based on the entrance test conducted by JKBOPEE.

Eligibility:

• Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme & 5% relaxation for SC/ST-I/ST-II/OBC/ALC/IB/RBA.
• Should be a Domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh.
• The candidates appearing/appeared in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply and appear in the Entrance Test subject to the condition that they have to submit the qualifying examination certificate if selected, to the allotted college/Institution at the time of admission, otherwise their candidature shall and shall be deemed to have been cancelled abinitio.

• Application form downloaded from official website of JKBOPEE
• Photo copy of Date of Birth certificate (Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate)
• Marks certificate of the qualifying examination
• Photo copy of Domicile Certificate
• Photocopy of Category Certificate (if any)
• Passport size Photographs
• Character Certificate (Original)
• Provisional Certificate (Original)
• All students need to fill Anti-ragging undertaking form online at https://www.antiragging.in
• After filling the form all students have to mail the filled Anti-ragging form to Nodal officer’s email id: gcoeantiragging@gmail.com
• Students are not required to submit any hard/printed affidavit in the college.
