ITEP Admission
Govt. College of Education, Canal Road Jammu (A constituent College of Cluster University of Jammu) has been granted recognition for two programmes of ITEP i.e. B.A/B.Ed Foundational Stage and B.A/B.Ed Preparatory Stage by NCTE. Candidates for ITEP are admitted through NCTE entrance examination conducted by NTA.
Eligibility:
- Permanent Resident Certificate with Domicile Certificate.
- Be a permanent resident of J&K as defined in Section 6 of the Constitution of J&K.
- Have passed 12th through recognised Board of School Education (JKBOSE/CBSE).
- Have obtained not less than 45% marks in aggregate in open merit and not less than 40% in reserved category.
Documents Required at the Time of Admission:
- NCTE Score Card
- Application form downloaded from Cluster University Portal
- Photo copy of 10th class Mark sheet (02) along with Original Mark-sheet
- Photo copy of 12th class Mark sheet (02) along with Original Mark-sheet
- Photo copy of Domicile Certificate (02)
- Photocopy of Category Certificate (if any) (02)
- Passport size Photographs (03)
JK Board students to provide:
- Character Certificate (Original)
- Provisional Certificate (Original)
- For students with Gap, Character Certificate issued by any Gazetted Officer or from Nearest Police Station.
CBSE and other State Students to provide:
- Transfer Certificate (Original)
- Migration Certificate (Digi-locker Approved)
- For students with Gap, Character Certificate issued by any Gazetted Officer/from Nearest Police Station.
- All students need to fill Anti-ragging undertaking form online at https://www.antiragging.in
- After filling the form all students have to mail the filled Anti-ragging form to Nodal officer’s email id: gcoeantiragging@gmail.com
- Students are not required to submit any hard/printed affidavit in the college.
Note: Candidate shall produce original documents at the time of document verification during admission.
